TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEYS

Topographical surveys can help you foresee problems in advane and avoid the risk of costly mistakes. Using the latest technology, Leica Total Station instruments and Distos, we provide highly accurate surveys that will show surface changes and all features are shown related to the ground such as kerbstones, lighting, traffic signs, steps, etc, etc. Levels are taken at regular intervals and at all changes in gradient. Drainage Invert Levels and connections can also be included.  

If required surveys can be related to Ordnance survey GPS level datum and National Grid co-ordinates.

ELEVATIONS & SECTIONS

Using Leica reflectorless instruments and hand measurements we produce highly accurate scaled elevations showing information such as floor levels, window sill & head levels, cornice & banding details, adjoining properties in detailed elevation and more. These can be drawn to various standards, from right of light up to high detail.

If offsite elevations are required, measurements are taken using reflectorless EDM measurements, thus avoiding the need for access

FLOOR PLANS

We suppy floor plans drawn up relative to a common survey grid showing information required such as like floor levels relative to site datum, beam locations with heights, surface finishes, and more. You can use of our floor plans as a standalone drawings or as part of a package that includes elevations and land surveys. 

Our experience spans a variety of projects, producing floor plans to the highest standard. This experience gives us the expertise to know exactly what you need. 

LEASE PLANS

We can also supply lease plans, similar to floor and topographical surveys but without the heights. 

RIGHTS OF LIGHT

Your new development may affect the light of surrounding buildings so it is important to discover any issues as soon as possible. surveys4architects.co.uk can help you discover how high your buildings can be before they start blocking light in relation to the time of day etc.

PRESENTATION

All drawings are supplied to scale as an Acad.dwg file and sent to you by email. 

We can also supply printed sheets, PDF’s or a CD copy when required.
